Learning with the Damen Silos

For three months, Open Sheds Used for What? has inhabited the juncture of the Sanitary and Ship Canal, the Lower West Side industrial corridor, and the former Santa Fe railroad and grain silos. Through weekly visits and research, Open Sheds collaborators learned about the site's history, botany, and current activities, organizing minimal interventions and happenings.

Join us on for a capstone event sharing what we learned through a guided journey and plant walk along the Canalport Riverwalk.
